undercoverdiva

The Undercoverdiva aka JC began her creative career as a designer at the tender age of six. Growing up with three older sisters who were not around a lot, JC became interested in making clothes for her dolls to wear. Stitching together those tiny little clothes by hand fascinated her and set into motion her passion for designing. Later, at age thirteen, she learned how to operate a sewing machine and from that point on, her passion for designing and dressmaking grew and developed as her journey led her to study fashion and designing at Moore College of Art and join the ranks as a skilled professional devoting her talents to constructing quality, custom garments for her select clientele. After owning and operating J Alberta Designs dressmaking and designing service for ten years, JC sort alternative venues to expose her designs to the general public. Her focus was to concentrate on marketing her product via the Internet, digitally bringing her brand name into the 21st century. Equipped with a background in art, JC compiled her photos and drawings of her work to create videos to display her collection. Her new venture took shape under a new name, J Alberta Video Production, as she dropped the word ‘Designs’ from her video production enterprise. JC also produces work under the name of jcMix where she specializes in combining art with photography to create CD music disc covers and labels.  Experienced with graphic art software and following the same principles that transformed her passion for designing and dressmaking into a successful business, JC’s proficiency in creating flawless, crisp photo displays in her videos is a result of her dedication to develop her photo editing skills to a professional level that rivals her competitors. She has combined talent, interest, skill, commitment and creativity to produce amusing videos which now expand beyond fashion to a variety of themes and topics. A photo enthusiast, JC recognizes the value of photography as an art form and her mission is to produce entertaining visual accounts of events or personal activities one would like to share with family, friends, co-workers or acquaintances.  Her first HubPage is up and ready to view and is a tutorial on constructing a vest from old neckties.  In future Hubs, JC will continue to explore  topics on clothing construction, video graphics and production, and other interesting art related subjects focusing on life in the 21st century.
